Reviews Live today

Ask at the right moment, and only once.

A review request by email after a visit, with a throttle so a regular customer is never nagged. Frontiva cannot read your Google or Facebook reviews back yet, so this is the asking half, honestly labelled.

How it works

1

Paste your review link

Whatever link your listing gives you: Google, Facebook or Yelp. It is set per location, because a Google listing is per location, and a two-surgery practice sending both sets of patients to one of them leaves a branch with no reviews.

2

Turn it on

It ships off. From then on, marking an appointment complete schedules an ask a few hours later: long enough that somebody is home, short enough that the visit is still what they would write about.

3

It asks, once

One person is asked at most once in the window you choose, ninety days by default. A patient on a six-month recall who also comes in for a filling is not asked twice in a fortnight.

Asked once, not often

A throttle per person, so a regular customer hears from you about a review once a season rather than every visit.

The right branch

Links are per location, so patients review the surgery they actually went to.

No review gating

Everybody gets the same link. Routing unhappy customers elsewhere is what regulators fine businesses for.

Frequently asked questions

Can I see my Google reviews in Frontiva?

Not yet, and we would rather say so than show you an empty list. Reading reviews back needs access to the Google Business Profile API, and replying to them needs permission to write to your listing. Neither is connected, so Frontiva shows what it asked, not what was written. When that access is in place, monitoring and drafted replies follow.

Can it ask by text message?

No. A marketing text needs express written consent, and the consent box a customer ticks when booking covers messages about their appointment: confirmations, reminders and changes. Its own wording says it does not cover review requests. Using it for one anyway would be using permission for something it was never given for, so review requests go by email.

Does it ever route unhappy customers somewhere private?

No, and it never will. Sending happy customers to Google and unhappy ones to a feedback form is review gating: the FTC has fined businesses for it and Google's own policy forbids it. Everybody gets the same link.

How long after the visit does it ask?

Three hours by default, and you can choose one hour, three, the next day, or two days later. Asking at the desk while somebody is still paying is asking too early; a week later is asking somebody who has moved on.

What if somebody has no email address, or unsubscribed?

They are not asked, and the record says which it was. Every ask is checked again in the instant before it goes out, so somebody who unsubscribes between their visit and the ask does not receive it.

Can I edit the wording?

Not today. A review request that has been rewritten into a sales pitch stops being a review request, and the wording is what the compliance position rests on. Your business name, your address and your review link are what change.
